There is a big difference with the example you brought up and when your saying 'Ya (name)'. They are not the same. You think that it benefits you in some way when you are 'indirectly' asking them (the dead) for something. In our prayers, we are only greeting, we are not expecting anything in return. You think saying 'Ya (name)' will help answer your help and prayers. Astaghfir Allah. It wont. geez its really so simple: Call to Allah azewejjel only, do not think that any other human will benefit you in anyway.
