How good is the Ibanez RG5SP1?

The only way you will ever know for sure if any guitar is right for you is if you go and sit down with that guitar t Guitar Center or any other guitar retailer and play it for a half hour or so. That Ibanez will sound fine for metal a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkOE2VkqRJA" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkOE2VkqR…/a - however, as you know, there are many many varied metal sounds and different degrees of distortion and overdrive and the sound is going to come more from the effects pedals you use than the guitar itself. The amplifier you are using will also be a huge factor in the sound. The best metal amplifiers made by MESA BOOGIE and ENGL. Marshall amps are very popular but, they are not the best sounding amps for metal. The best effects are made by BOSS. However, there are a few other distortion pedals that are worth looking at like the LINE 6 Uber Metal distortion pedal. I have Roland Juno-G keyboard synthesizer that I can plug my guitar and b into and the distortion sound I get out of that Roland keyboard are far better than any guitar amplifier I have ever used. But, don't buy anything based on a review you see on the Internet or what anyone tells you. Take your guitar and got to the dealer and play through those effects and amplifiers and try all the settings and be certain that it's the sound you really want.
