HELP! need some answers for sewing!?

i am a designer, i hope i can help you, press the frayed edges to the inside, frayed part against the seam, press in on itself, then press the seam open again, you should have a narrower strip of material on either side of the seam. sew each side of the material on either side of the seam, using the same colored thread at a width of 1/4 in, after you have sewed both sides so that they can't fray, press the fabric flat. good luck
