Which PS3 action/shooter game should I play next?

I just recently started playing video games again since I got a Playstation 3 and have been really into games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and the Half-Life 2 games (haven't played the earlier games in these series). Also the Medal of Honor & Call of Duty series, but mostly ones with creative, hypothetical storylines and a large selection of fun & interesting weaponry to play with. I especially like ones with little puzzle-type situations you have to figure out in order to advance, and a good atmospheric setting and musical score is a plus. I'll play older games and PS2 games if they sound interesting, but I may have been spoiled by MGS4 so preferably newer.
