Need advice for hotel near yosemite area?

I stayed at the Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn last October before entering Yosemite National Park. Oakhurst is about 45 miles (50 minutes) north of Fresno and approximately 20 minutes drive from Yosemite’s south entrance. I enjoyed my stay there and found the accommodations to be clean and comfortable. Free high speed internet access is available although, if memory serves me correctly, you’ll need an RJ-45 network cable to connect to the data port. If you don’t have one, ask the front desk. I’ve been to other Best Westerns that loaned me a cable when I didn’t have one. My room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. A free continental breakfast isn’t offered but there are many eating places nearby. Summer rates vary from a low of about $115 for a 2 queen room to a high of about $145 for a 2 queen suite. Off season rates are $30-$40 lower.
