My dad lost his pport and he wants to go to Canda by land,?

A lot of people on here are severely misinformed about the doentation requirements for US permanent residents visiting Canada. Like US citizens, US permanent residents are EXEMPT from the pport requirement IF TRAVELLING BY LAND. The permanent resident card (green card) is enough, as US permanent residents are VISA-EXEMPT from travel to Canada, regardless of their country of citizenship. Please, do a little research before answering questions.
