Is this being too aggressive toward a girl?

One idea, while sending her a facebook friend request, in the little personal message thing you could say something really casual like "hey I haven't talked you in in a while what up?" she should accept your friend request and depending on how your conversations go from there you can see what happens GOOD LUCK!!!
